5.4 Navigate by vehicle data
In this mask field it is possible
to identify a specific vehicle through its VIN or select a specific version of
a model. Both these methods allow specifications to be set which ePER will use
during the consultation to "filter" only the tables and components
that are compatible with the specific vehicle or the version, respectively.
The search by VIN mode is
illustrated in paragraph
5.1.4.2 .
The information which follows
refers to the manual selection of a model version.

In the top part of the window, under the VIN box, there are a series of fields
in which it is possible to set the basic specifications of the version you wish
to search for, such as: cubic capacity, number of doors, fuel, engine type,
etc.
The lower part of the window
shows the list of all the versions of the current model which are compatible
with the specifications set above.
For example, by selecting
"1.4 cc" in the "Cubic capacity" box the list of versions
will be re-initialised so that it only contains versions with 1.4 cc engines.

Once the desired version has been
identified, select it and click the “Next”
button ("Next” in the example)
The window has the following
buttons:
Clear fields: deletes all the options selected previously,
including the catalogue, allowing the user to reset the basic specifications.
Info:
displays the SINCOM code configuration selected
Next: displays the selection page of the function group, setting
the filters for the navigation of the subgroups, tables and parts prices in
relation to the vehicle specifications.
