5.1.4.2       Search by VIN / Access to the "Navigate by vehicle data" mask field

Search by VIN

 

It is possible to carry out a search by VIN by typing in the 17 character vehicle code in the special box and then clicking the  button at the side.

If the VIN typed in is present in the ePER archive, a popup window will appear, as shown below, containing the main features of the vehicle and a button “Next” (“Next” in the picture) to consult the specific catalogue.

The window has the following buttons:

 

Info: this shows the list of all the known vehicle features.

Next: this starts the consultation of the specific parts catalogue.ePER will only show those spare parts and products that are compatible with that vehicle.

 

The basic vehicle specifications are displayed at the top in the "Active filters" section. The complete list of specifications for the vehicle can always be consulted by clicking on the  icon, shown at the end of the list of basic specifications. 

 

Access to the "Navigate by vehicle data" window

 

If you don't know the VIN but you want to set a specific model version, the "Navigate by vehicle data" mask field can be used as an alternative to the search by VIN method by selecting it from the "Fast menu" panel.
